A Community of Practice for Our TTT Alumni

A community of practice (CoP) is a group of people who share a common concern, a set of problems, or an interest in a topic and who come together to fulfill both individual and group goals to learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.

The concept was first proposed by cognitive anthropologist Jean Lave and educational theorist Etienne Wenger in their 1991 book Situated Learning.

Our aim with the AIM TTT Alumni is to have our TTT graduates who comes from different backgrounds and different levels of training experience and also capabilities, work together towards achieving the same goal – further improvement of their training competencies by regular practice while having a “givers gain” mindset.

Through this initiative, Access Ideas Malaysia hopes to achieve a harmonious circle with a pool of trainers who help each other to remain active with not only have the right knowledge, skills and abilities, but also upholds the right ethics and code of conduct in the industry.
