Why do we have a second independent assessor coming into our final day of TTT to co-assess our participants’ final assessment.
It is not compulsory to have a second assessor in TTT, but we do it anyway.
Why?
There are several reasons as to why we go out of our way to do this, but one of the most important reason is not really about the participants’ final assessment itself – it’s more about the lead trainer.
We believe that the quality of any training is determined by how successful the participants apply the lessons learned from the session. On top of that, the success of the lead trainer is also dependent on how well he or she is showing a good example for the participants to follow.
Everytime the second assessor gives a feedback on the areas of improvement for the participants, it is also a reflection on how the lead trainer did in the session. It validates the observation made and counter checks for any cavity that needs to be addressed further.
We also get to learn a lot from the second assessor as they see things with a fresh pair of eyes, not influenced by what has happened from Day 1 to Day 4. Their perspective is purely from what happens on Day 5 and they help eliminate any biases that we may have on the participants. This ensures that we are being fair and uphold the standards of our assessment process for the HRD Corp Train-The-Trainer Certification Course.
So if you believe that this element is important and worth the effort we take, do join our next session – we don’t guarantee that you will pass, but we will ensure that there will be fairness in the scores given for you to earn your certificate and be a HRD Corp TTT Certified Trainer.
