Remember, adults are skeptical.
Some are very skeptical.
Some less so — but still skeptical.
They won’t believe you upfront.
They might not even give you a chance to prove yourself.
Even if they give you the benefit of the doubt, they may not want to invest their time.
So, what can we do?
We earn their trust, bit by bit.
We show, rather than tell.
We aim for small wins, consistently.
We’re not there to change their minds — that’s their job.
Try to listen more than you speak — even though you’re the trainer.
Respect their experience — even when you know a better way.
Stay patient — even when your time is limited.
Real influence isn’t forced. It’s invited.
And trust, once earned, opens doors that arguments never could.
Stay calm.
Stay sincere.
And keep at it.
Eventually, your consistency will speak louder than any words you say.
Slowly but surely, insyaAllah, you’ll make a difference.
