Don’t just limit your understanding of “learning” to classroom formal learning.
There are many more ways to learn and develop oneself. Even the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) recognises three (3) categories of learning – formal, informal and non-formal.
Learning happens in our daily experiences, through observation and reflection.
Every challenge we face, every problem we solve, even when experimenting new approaches to a task, we are learning.
In fact learning through failure is also invaluable because every mistake carries a lesson if we take the time to reflect and make adjustments.
So don’t be a trainer that is stuck with only one strategy just because that is how we earn a living. If we claim to be a solution provider, we must be ready and willing to advise beyond the products that we carry or that benefits us.
