If you choose to do a business, you must be willing to take on all the “hard” work that comes with it.
“Hard” here can be many things from tedious, time consuming, difficult or unfamiliar. But that’s part and parcel of the reward we aim to gain by doing the business in the first place.
It’s like choosing to sell Nasi Lemak – before you can do any activity of selling, you need to have the product. If you choose to cook it, you will need to prepare all the side dishes like the sambal, egg, etc. If you are allergic to nuts or don’t like to cut chili and onions, it will definitely be “hard”, but you must find your way around it to be able to sell a proper Nasi Lemak – one that the majority of people are familiar with.
Of course you can choose to sell your version of Nasi Lemak without groundnuts or without sambal, but you will need more than that to have a sustainable Nasi Lemak business. Alternatively, you can manage the activities you don’t like by hiring other people to do it for you. Whatever you choose to do, it’s your business model and you have to decide for yourself and take the necessary actions rather than just complaining about it.
So, if you choose to be a trainer or training provider, have this in mind – it’s not just the fun and glamorous part, you’ve signed up for the whole package!
