Trainers, be humane first, righteous second.
When you see a training provider (TP) asking for recommendations for a trainer in a professional group on social media and outlining specific criteria, don’t get upset or criticise them just because you don’t meet those requirements. Not every opportunity is yours to take and that’s perfectly fine. When criteria are set, respect them. If you don’t fit, step aside. If you know someone who does, you can contribute by sharing.
Remember, not everyone is looking for a trainer who claims to cover every topic. Some may require licensed modules, while others may need specific capabilities whether in language proficiency or a deeper understanding of certain cultures and communities, as requested by their clients.
So choose to see the good and avoid jealousy. Be professional. Professionalism is not just about how you train, but how you respond. People are often observing more than we realise. How you show up in small moments like these shapes how others see you.
Be kind, always.
