When a client asks for your service, have conviction in what you charge them.
How?
By knowing your numbers.
How do I do that as a freelance trainer?
Track and study your expenses.
How do I know which one is which?
Learn. Bare minimum, google.
This is what came out on “COGS” according to google:
“The cost of goods sold (COGS) is the sum of all direct costs associated with making a product. It appears on an income statement and typically includes money mainly spent on raw materials and labour. It does not include costs associated with marketing, sales or distribution.”
Unless you don’t spend anything on R&D for your training content and material, it’s most unlikely that you don’t know your numbers.
So do your homework if you are serious about your business. All the best!
